About Kristen Swartz

As a young child growing up in Crownsville, Maryland, Kristen developed a love for real estate. She would wake up on Saturday mornings, run outside and pick up the local newspaper to search for the daily home listings. Kristen's excitement was centered around the potential properties for her parents' rentals which set the foundation for her enthusiasm for real estate.        

Kristen's parents eventually sold their rentals and purchased an equestrian boarding facility, where she helped to manage the clients and horses for ten years.  After her parents sold their farm, Kristen's passion and love for horses continued. Still to this day, she helps to manage a small farmette in Crownsville.

After graduating from Archbishop Spalding High School, Kristen completed an accelerated dual-degree B.S./M.S. program in Occupational Therapy from Towson University. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors and began working as an occupational therapist (OT) at University of Maryland Medical Center and later as a travel OT. She continued working part-time after having her son, but then put her OT career on hold with the birth of her twin daughters.

Kristen's passion for the real estate industry never diminished. After living in Anne Arundel, Prince George's, Howard, and Baltimore counties, Kristen settled in Severna Park with her husband and three children. While raising her children, Kristen helped her husband to manage their personal rental property. Her love for real estate combined with her energy and enthusiasm to help others inspired her to pursue her real estate license.

Kristen's goal is to provide the best service possible. She listens and understands her clients' needs and is committed to treating clients with the same attention she would give to a family member or good friend.  She is detail oriented, hard-working, and self-motivated.
